Jan 22 - Gapstow Bridge

Hello everyone, wish you all a happy new year!! I know I am late in wishing you all. This blog as been silent for sometime and may continue to be so as I am not very not motivated to take any pictures. However, I shall try to update the space, whenever possible.
Though I have not posted my Gapstow bridge pictures for the last two months, I did take them and will try to update them soon and yes, I am still doing the seasons of Gapstow Bridge project. I took my last month's picture very late and delayed taking this month's picture as I wanted to give some gap between the two photos. This is this month's picture.

Jun 7 - Gapstow Bridge

This is this month's picture of Gapstow Bridge for P12M, changing colors of Gapstow bridge You can check the pictures I have posted so far for this project here. There is lot more greenery this month, compared to last month. I wanted a different angle this time and went low to take this picture. I placed the camera almost on the ground, bent low and held the camera few inches above the ground.

May 28 - Gapstow Bridge in the Evening

There is lot of activity around this bridge and I always end up walking towards Gapstow bridge to take some photographs. I usually carry my Sony RX100 and today I took my Nikon. I wanted to take pictures of couple of other spots around the pond. It was cloudy, the lighting was very low and ended up photographing the bridge again!

Starting this month, I am starting a new photo project, project 12 months (P12M). For this photo project, I picked Gapstow bridge as my subject and shall photograph this bridge every month, for one year.

Oct 22 - Day 295: Day in the Park

I never get bored of taking a walk in Central Park. I can do it almost everyday and I enjoy the walks to the core. Each time I go, I am tempted to take pictures. I must have taken numerous pictures of this side of the park from Gapstow bridge. Expect to see lot more here.

May 9 ~ Day 129 - Evening in the park

Location: Central Park
The park is so serene in the evening, good place to read a book, do some soul searching, to have some "me time" and enjoy the nature!

My camera is been acting weird lately. This evening, while I was taking pictures in the park, it started making this weird squeaky noise. It did no such thing in the afternoon, when I took some pictures for MySpicyKitchen. It did the same thing few days ago. I think it is high time I upgrade my camera and time to start looking for DSRL, before this camera breaks down on me.
