We normally don't watch telugu movies and we rarely buy DVDs. We watch most of the movies at the theater or when they are on cable. This week no new movies or no interesting movies are out, so I picked up a few telugu dvds. This is going to be our entertainment for this long weekend!

July 14 ~ Day 195 - Any guesses what the line is for??

Yes, those are Harry Potter fans waiting in the ticket holders line to enter the theater. I took the picture around 8:30pm and people started lining up from 5pm itself for the midnight show!  This theater is one of the oldest in the city and you can imagine how long the line would be at better theaters in the city.
This is a very bad picture and I was uncomfortable taking a picture from close up. I took the picture from across the street.

May 26 ~ Day 146 - History in the making!

"History in the making!" is what one of the crew members said. It was the shooting of Law & Order - Criminal Intent, final episode of the show.

Nov 28 - Wintuk

Photography was strictly prohibited at cirque du soleil show, Wintuk. I took a quick picture with my iphone, for the blog. The show was a little disappointing but the little girl in the front row loved it.

Nov 1 - My television in the night

That's how I catch up on my favorite Zee TV soaps in the night when I am busy in the kitchen! That is the reflection of the television screen on the glass window and all I have to do is peep out of the kitchen to watch TV(reflection of tv).

Oct 16 - My bollywood theater

This is where I watch most of the bollywood movies. It was Robot this time. The movie was ok and I did not find it as great as everyone had made it out to be.. :-)

Sep 19 - Almond House candy cart in Prasad's Imax theater

Took my nephew to Prasad's games arcade and a stop this candy store concludes his trip to Prasads!

Sep 18 - Wheels on the bus go round and round

My nephew has been playing this rhyme all morning.  He must have viewed at least 15 videos on you tube.

May 29 - I was in "Chicago"!

I watched it tonight and is a very good show.

Apr 28 - Mamma Mia

I finally got to watch Mamma Mia today!  I was meaning to watch this on broadway for a quite some time.  I totally enjoyed the show and loved it!

Apr 21 - Phantom of the Opera

My cousins were in the city and was busy the last few days and could not update the blog every day.  However, I have taken pictures everyday for the blog.

It was Broadway night!  Watched Phantom of the Opera at Majestic Theater.
