I thought yesterday was the last day of catch up or repeat old themes to improve. Apparently not! I am taking this opportunity to repeat speed fro Apr 29. I need to improve but I feel it is lot better than my picture from spring.

Today is the last day of catch up days and wanted to photograph night pictures. I struggle taking decent picture in the night. Tried again today but of vein. I ended up repeating stopping time, again!

This is my pick and the one below is my husband's pick. I could not make up my mind and hence posting both the pictures.

Repeating orange from Feb 24. I liked my subject then but was not quite impressed with the photograph. The walkway did not have any natural light and there is a cast in the photo because of the light. In today's picture it is the opposite. There was plenty of sunshine and I took it under direct sunlight as I wanted the shadows.

Aug 13 ~ Day 226 / 366 - Catch up day 2: Exploring, freezing time

After stopping time, I did the opposite here. Freeze time. I shot this in my kitchen which has no natural light. I had to use fast shutter speed and despite increasing the ISO, this was the best lighting I could get for the picture.

Aug 12 ~ Day 225 - Catch up day 1: Stopping time

Next few days are going to be catch up days or repeat a theme. I have not missed any themes thus far hence will be repeating some of the themes during these catch up days. One theme I really wanted to repeat is stopping time. When I did this  theme back in Feb, I owned a point & shoot camera and could not really play with the settings. Now that I have a SLR, this theme has been on top of my "to repeat"  list. I actually wanted to photograph traffic in night but decided do this first.  I wish I had removed all the clutter before clicking.. :(
