Nov 14 ~ Day 318 - Coconut Tabla & Veena

Table and Veena were carved on dried coconut. I never seen such cute coconuts before. Bride's mom took these to the pooja at the groom's house, the day after the wedding.

This was part of the stage decoration for the bridal shower, pellikuturu ceremony. The birds were very cute.

Sep 15 - Inorbit, newest mall in the city

Everyone was talking about this mall and had to check it out.  The mall is big and more stores yet to open.  I heard so much about the stores in the mall and was a bit disappointed!  Shopper Stop, Life Style, Mebaz, Fab India, Kalanjali, Max and many more stores had an outlet in the mall.  The lonely store where I found some interesting stuff and picked up couple of tops is And. 

  That is Durgam Cheruvu from the mall.

Sep 6 - Gas delivery truck

Unlike in the west, here in India, cooking gas is sold in cylinders. Every month we need to book a cylinder and it is is delivered with in a week. The delivery guy picks up the empty cylinder and drops off th efilled one.

Aug 20 - Visit to an intensive care unit

Visited a family member in the intensive care unit and had to wear plastic/disposable socks before going into the unit.  Interesting part was, the security guard asked us to put on  the socks with my sandals on!
