Aug 8 - Frame it

Day 5 of 30DBFP - Task was to fill the photo frame and decide on the vertical or horizontal frame. I chose vertical frame as I had very few elements in the frame. Recipe for sauteed radish coming soon on food blog.

Aug 6 - Shallow Depth of Field

I signed up for 30 days to better food photos (30dbfp) project. This picture is part of that project. Whenever I post a picture from that project, I shall mention it. Coming to the greens in the picture, today I was at a farmers market in Union Square and found some purslane, also known as gangavalli kura in Telugu. I made some dal with it. Bowl of dal in the background is gangavalli kura pappu.

At a Farmers Market

Produce from Union Square farmers market. It was closing time when I got there and there wasn't much to buy. These onions caught my eye, so fresh and straight from the farm. I did not buy anything except some blueberries.

Cooking Experiment - Northern Thai Chicken Curry

Northen Thai Chicken Curry was our dinner last night but did not like how it turned out. It was different from most of the Thai curries I have tasted. It tasted more like an Indian chicken curry. It is not going on my food blog.. :(

I have neglected this space for too long and am kind of missing it; clicking and uploading pictures here. I have also fallen behind in my weekly themes. For some reason I lost interest in clicking for this blog. Although I lost interest in photography in general, I do click pictures for my food blog. So will post some of the those pictures here to motivate myself to revive this space.
