This was part of the stage decoration for the bridal shower, pellikuturu ceremony. The birds were very cute.
I landed this morning in Hyderabad and did not get to take any pictures. I am posting a picture I took the next day, during one of the pre wedding ceremonies.

This time I had a long shopping list to shop at the duty free stores. Unfortunately my flight arrived late in Dubai and I did not have much time to shop around. I picked up this tiny bag of duty free goods during my transit in Dubai.

When I first saw this platter of baked cauliflowers, I thought those were bread rolls or a variety of bread.  I was surprised to learn it was a platter of baked cauliflowers.  In the picture, it is easy to identify, but when first served, it was not obvious.  This was at a friend's party.
