Sep 9 - Chocolate __________ Gateaux

One of my cousin's invited us for dinner and this was our dessert. It is called Chocolate ______(something) gateaux. I had almost three helping of this cake!

Sep 8 - Shopping woes

I bought this cooker and now everyone tells me that it won't serve my purpose. I want to exchange it but the store doesn't have the size the require. They won't refund the money and I am stuck with this cooker.. :(

Sep 7 - New sarees??

I gave these sarees for steam polish 2 weeks ago got them back today. It is raining every day and it took them so long to polish the sarees. Don't they look like new sarees? That was the intention. I did not want to give them for dry wash but wanted it to look like new ones.

Sep 6 - Gas delivery truck

Unlike in the west, here in India, cooking gas is sold in cylinders. Every month we need to book a cylinder and it is is delivered with in a week. The delivery guy picks up the empty cylinder and drops off th efilled one.

Sep 4 - Monsoon season

Sep 3 - It wasn't a power cut!

In the morning when I was blow drying my hair, there was a partial power cut. We thought the cut was partial. Later there was no power in all the rooms. BY end of the day power was back in all the rooms except mine that is when we realized it wasn't a power cut and have to replace the fuse.
