Apr 20 - Cooking Spree

Stack of food containers.  This is some of the food I cooked today.  My cousins are visiting us from India and thought of stocking up the fridge with some food.  A back up plan in case someone wants homemade food after a long day!

Apr 18 - Roses

Today we were home all day and did not find anything interesting to click for the day.  As I was thinking about the picture of the day, these roses in my vase caught my eye.

Apr 17 - Rockefeller Center Sculpture

Sea Nymph at Rockefeller Center.  There is a female sea nymph on the other side of the stairway leading to the icing rink at Rockefeller center.  In the back is the famous Prometheus, at the lower level of the Rockefeller center plaza.

Apr 16 - New York skyline on a rainy night

Rainy friday night in the big apple!  This is the skyline of fogy & cloudy midtown Manhattan.

April 15 - One of the busiest places in the country today!

Were you in that line today? I was yesterday! I sent my check to Uncle Sam yesterday. That was the line at one of the Automated Postal Centers at a midtown post office in Manhattan.

Apr 14 - Fresh Almonds???

Have you ever seen and eaten fresh almonds before? I found them at a produce store in Chelsea Market this afternoon! I have never seen fresh almonds before and was very amused to find them. In the excitement of taking the picture, it didn't even occur to me that I ought to buy some to taste it.. I wonder how they taste!

Apr 13th - Cloudy day!

A cloudy afternoon and a boring day!  I did not do anything interesting today.  I had some spring cleaning and shopping on today's agenda.  However,  I did nothing and the gloomy weather wasn't helpful either!  Took this picture from my window.

Apr 12th - Bike Ride in the park

It is a beautiful spring day out here, highs around 65 F.  After lunch, went to the park for a bike ride.

The park is still beautiful with the cherry blossoms but the trees that were in full bloom last week were no longer in blooms today!

Apr 11th - More Spring Flowers

Last Thursday, I met a few of my friends for lunch, in downtown. One of my friends works in One Liberty Plaza and as I was waiting for her to come down, these beautiful tulips caught my eye. I captured them thru my camera!!

Absolutely fell in love with these pink tulips!
