May 17 - Day 137: Korean BBQ for Dinner

Tonight's dinner was at Don's Bogam, which is one of our favorite restaurants. There is a new item on their menu, rather we recently tasted it. Since then Bulgogi has become our regular order. Thinly sliced meat is cooked along with vegetables in a special broth. Pardon the image as it was taken with my phone in low lightly. Below is a better picture of bulgogi which I took couple of months ago with my phone.

May 16 - Day 136: Framed

This photo is from 2 weeks ago when we were at Belmont Park to watch the simulcast of Kentucky Derby, the first leg of the Triple crown. Today, third Saturday of May was the second leg of the triple crown. I felt this would be an apt day to post this image. This pond is inside the track and is very scenic. From where I was seated, I could not take a closeup shot of the pond and had to crop the image to frame it.

May 8 - Day 128: Landmarks - Flatiron Building

One of the landmarks in the city is Flatiron building, which is triangular in shape. I was not happy with the photo. I cropped it a bit and did some post processing to gave it a HDRish look. I might have better luck next time photographing this iconic building! Know more about the building here.

This morning I saw Simi's week # 18 pictures, Cherry blossom visual story. I got inspired and clicked some pictures during my afternoon walk in the park. Off course my photos are not as good as Simi's though.

The park does not have as many blossoms as last week but I was lucky enough to capture some of the remaining cherry blossoms.
