Sept 16 ~ Day 259 - Lunch atop a Skyscraper

This is a sculpture/statue of a famous photograph taken in 1932, at Rockefeller center construction site. Construction works having  lunch atop of a crossbeam. Today it was near Chelsea market and couple of weeks ago I spotted it in Time Square. The statue is on a truck and appears to be moved around during the day.

Sept 15 ~ Day 258 - A black & white picture

I was in an Italian grocery store and took this picture for the B&W Wednesdays, a photo series started by Susan. Since I do not have a picture for today, I am posting it here instead. This was shot in B&W and I did not convert it into B&W using any software.

Sept 14 ~ Day 257 - My bangle collection

I love bangles and buy them whenever I am in Hyderabad. Since last couple of years, I stopped bringing my new bangles back here. I usually end up carrying them back home with out wearing them. Now I keep the bangles there itself, as I use them a lot back home than I do here. These are some of the bangles I have with me. I have a few more sets of bangles in my travel bangle box and I was lazy to put them in these boxes, before taking the picture.

Sept 2 ~ Day 245 - Z for Zest

With this lime zest, I conclude my A-Z alphabet series. I initially had difficulty coming up with a picture for an alphabet, although the initial set of alphabets should have been the easiest ones. The day after I finished the alphabet, I use to have a flood of ideas for  that alphabet. Lol! I got a hang of it, a week into the series.  It was challenging yet fun doing this series.  From tomorrow, I am back to my random photo blogging.
