Drove aimlessly with an unknown destination on 680N! Had lunch at Fontina Ristorante in Pleasanton. Enjoyed the drive though!

Apr 26 ~ Day 116 - Kids by the lake!

Location: Lake Elizabeth in Fremont, California
My cousin was off that week. We went for long walks around the the lake, 3 days in a row. Thanks, S akka for taking for the walks! Those walks helped a lot after all the cake and food we ate at the party and the tuxedo chocolate mousse cake at your place.

Apr 17 ~ Day 107 - Mamidikaya Pappu Charu

I made mamidikaya pappu charu for dinner tonight and it was yummilicious! Pappu charu is a variation of sambar, prepared without sambar powder.

Apr 16 ~ Day 106 - In full bloom

It rained all afternoon and in the night. Could not take a picture in the morning. This picture is from Thursday, Apr 14. What a difference a day or two makes. On Monday, this tree had lots and lots of buds and it was in full blooms by Tuesday. I did not take a picture of this tree Tuesday though.

And guess what, it rained on this day even last year! Wish I had taken a picture! I have already posted so many pictures of city skyline on a rainy night and decided not to do so this time.

Apr 12 ~ Day 102 - City Skyline from JK Onassis Resevoir

Location: Jackie Kennedy Onassis Reservoir in Central Park
I went for a morning walk today and view of the city from the reservoir is breath talking! I have walked their a few times but do not go that far very often. My cousin is in town and have a walking buddy for the next few days. Expect more pictures form the park in coming days. I do put up lot of pictures from the park, but don't be surprised if the next 7 pictures are from the park.

I successfully completed my Project 365. I started it last year on 10th April. There were 3-5 days where I could not post post a picture, yet a successful project. It was fun doing this project and I plan on continuing it as long as I can.

Apr 8 ~ Day 98 - Irresistible Indulgences

My cousin gave us couple of boxes of these candies Wednesday night. I opened the first box the same night and I finished 2/3rds of the box in less than 18 hours. These candies are so good that I could not resist myself. I hid this and the unopened box, and U made fun of my candy binging. I finished 2/3 box in 18 hours and U finished the remaining 1/3 of the candy in less than 5 minutes, earlier this evening. Guess who is having the last laugh!

Congratulations on bring home the world cup after 24 years drought! The last time Indian cricket team won the world cup was 28 years ago, in 1983.
